About:
Dr. Lingor holds the position of Assistant Attending Physician at HSS, is a faculty member at Weill Cornell Medical College, and serves as the Medical Director and Team Physician for the New York Rangers. He focuses on treating acute musculoskeletal injuries and improves patient access at HSS Ortho Injury Care. Dr. Lingor employs musculoskeletal ultrasound for both diagnosis and treatment, including platelet-rich plasma therapies for joint and tendon issues. He is engaged in research and often speaks at sports medicine conferences globally. After earning his degree from St. John's University in Minnesota and becoming a Registered Dietitian, Certified Athletic Trainer, and Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Dr. Lingor completed internships with the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins and was the Head Athletic Trainer for the Hamburg Sea Devils in NFL-Europe. He graduated from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, completed his family medicine residency at Illinois Masonic in Chicago, and his sports medicine fellowship at the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Lingor is board certified in family and obesity medicine, with a subspecialty in sports medicine, and has served as an Assistant Team Physician for the New York Jets, as well as for various high schools and colleges. Dr. Lingor's approach integrates his expertise in nutrition, athletic training, and strength and exercise training for a holistic treatment plan aimed at achieving patients' health and performance goals. In his personal life, Dr. Lingor loves to travel, cook, and stay active outdoors. He has participated in several marathons and completed three Ironman Triathlons, including the prestigious Hawaii Ironman World Championships.
