Dr. Gregory Rubin is a dedicated Primary Sports Medicine Physician at HSS at NCH. He began his education at the University of Florida for his undergraduate studies, followed by medical school at Nova Southeastern College of Medicine. Afterward, Dr. Rubin pursued a residency in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut and further specialized with a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Kentucky.
Throughout his career, Dr. Rubin has served as a team physician for several collegiate athletic programs, including the University of Kentucky, Georgetown College, and Kentucky State University. In Naples, he extended his expertise to high school athletics, working with teams from Golden Gate High School, Lely High School, Gulf Coast High School, and Barron Collier High School. He is now a team physician for Florida Gulf Coast University, covering all sports, and consults for the ECHL's Florida Everblades.
As the co-founder of the Sports Medicine Review and a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, Dr. Rubin focuses his practice on non-operative treatments for both adults and adolescents in Naples, Florida. He is skilled in ultrasound-guided injections and handles a wide range of conditions, including acute injuries, fractures, arthritis, and chronic overuse injuries.
